Chrysalis Community Drug Project
The name comes from the latin word chrysallis which means
- the form taken by butterflies at an early stage in their development
- a stage of being or growth
Chrysalis was set up in 1998 by a group of local residents and workers to address, and respond to drug issues within the Greater Stoneybatter area, Dublin 7.
Currently Chrysalis offers a broad range of services to people, living or working in the community, affected by drug use.
We provide
- addiction counselling
- information/referral
- advocacy/support
- drop-in services
- holistics services
- drug awareness courses
- a range of services to drug using women working in prostitution
